Support Advanced Style

We’re all getting older, and for many women, that poses challenges when it comes to their individuality and personal style.  Some women just disappear into a world of beige, twinsets and the acceptable ‘norm’, but not to the women Ari Seth Cohen features in his wonderful blog Advanced Style.

He roams the streets of New York looking for the most stylish and creative older folks he can find.

His bio says (and I have to agree)

“Respect your elders and let these ladies and gents teach you a thing or two about living life to the fullest. Advanced Style offers proof from the wise and silver-haired set that personal style advances with age.”

And now Advanced Style is progressing from a blog to a must watch documentary and you can help by backing their crowd funding project which has only three days to go!  So I urge you to click on the link and help these guys out, they more than deserve our support.

I hope I have the courage to still want my personal style to stand out and not disappear into mediocrity as I get older.

As one of the women on the trailer for the documentary says

“Young women, you’re going to be an old woman some day.  Don’t worry about it, don’t sweat it, don’t worry about getting older. Every era, it builds character.”
